Steppin' Out 2009: When Friday & Saturday, August 7th & 8th

Featuring over 150 crafters from around the region, sidewalk sales, all manner of ethnic and regional food, children's activities, as well as three stages of live music and performance. Stepping Out occurs annually on the first weekend (Friday and Saturday) of every August. Its a great festival of fun for all and yearly opportunity to buy unique gifts.

Basic Directions: From Interstate 81: take the US-11/US-460 exit, number 118B, towards Christiansburg/Blacksburg. After 3 miles, follow the the signs for the US-460 West Bypass towards Blacksburg. After 3 miles take the US-460 West Business Exit onto South Main Street. Follow South Main Street for 3 miles into downtown Blacksburg and turn left at College Ave, the Lyric is on the left. The festival takes place on the streets of College, Main, Draper and Jackson.
