There is definitely a range of material by which a wall panel is normally composed. However, as with any other conventional concepts that people commonly use, there is always an exceptional material that comes as the result of thinking outside the box. My friend’s wall panel definitely fits into such category. His house, despite being a modern styled house, is using bamboo wall panel for its interior layout. Of course using bamboo for exterior wall would be too risky as it may break down quickly. However, by using it only for the interior covering gives the interior layout to appear exotic.

Interior Design Complementing the Bamboo Wall Panel

As has been mentioned, the house is a modern house. However, in reaching the term modern, my friend actually rides an unorthodox method. Apart from the implementation of the unique wall panel design made of bamboo, my friend also has the ceiling of his house built completely of transparent fiber that resembles glass. Wooden flooring is applied underneath the feet to complete the design of the interior layout.

The arrangement of the furniture items is what really brings the definition of modern back into conventional light. Being set with mostly bright tone of colors, the arrangement of the interior is really minimalist featuring furnishing and decorative items of sparkling colors and minimal sizes. Apart from establishing its minimalist look, it adds more to the exotic theme of the interior design.

The Design and Arrangement of the Bamboo Wall Panel

The bamboo wall panel is set to cover the whole outer section of wall inside the house, although for the exterior the house still features concrete covered panel. Each of the bamboo is lined in vertical fashion to create a fence that expands creating a set of wall panels. The bamboo composing material is what sets the wall panel apart from rustic panel design that is usually composed of woods. Some decorative palm plants are even added to accentuate the exotic look even more.
